Doing preparation means making a distinction beforehand between what you can understand and what you can’t about the content of the next lesson. So you are required to read the relevant chapter(s) and other materials and complete the exercises before the class, taking more than two hours. Also you must review what you learned, focusing on what you didn’t understand before the class. At least two hours must be spent to do this. 
授業の概要と目的
This course is relevant to the curriculum policy (1) prescribed by the Graduate School of Business (MA), i.e. The purpose of this course is to let students master a high level of professional knowledge and the language skills needed for systematic deeper understanding of the discipline. Specifically, the course is designed to come to an understanding of the business management ideas of Peter F. Drucker (1909-2005). 
到達目標
The goal to be achieved is to become able to read in English about business management fast and precisely.

授業形態・方法
The method of learning will be to find, read and discuss about Drucker's thoughts. Books; periodical, newspaper and Internet articles in English will be located, read and talked about. 
成績評価方法及び評価基準
Students will be evaluated based on:
1) active participation in the classroom discussions; 2) eagerness to collect materials relevant to the course; 3) end-of-semester report, 3 pages written in English.
Points 1-2 above 75%; report 25% 
その他(履修条件・関連科目など)
All students must have an English dictionary which they bring to every class. Also it is necessary to own a notebook, say A5 size or smaller. (Please note that single sheets of paper are not considered an acceptable alternative). A pencil and an eraser are needed.
